Our Story
In 1946, Jim Thurmon and his son, D.W. Thurmon, opened up a retail store in the small west Texas town of Breckenridge featuring furniture and appliances. Several years later, D.W.'s brother, Rufus, and his brother-in-law, Marvin Andress joined in with the rest of the family. In 1977, D.W.’s son, Randy Thurmon, partnered with the family business, after Rufus and Marvin retired. Today he and his wife, Melinda, continue to own and run the now furniture, flooring, accessory, and kitchen store. We are proud to have served this community for so many years and we are grateful to our loyal customers! We take pride in our service and strive to sell quality products at fair prices.
